What The Glass Bench records when you read a page, how long it keeps it, and how to write about a correction or a removal.
What is recorded
The server keeps ordinary request logs: the page requested, the date, the referring page and the user agent of the browser. The logs are used to count reads and to find broken pages.
Cookies and analytics
This bench sets no advertising cookie and runs no third party tracker. Any measurement of readership is made from the server logs described above.
Your message
A message written to the desk is kept as long as it takes to answer and to update the sheet it concerns. Ask and the message is deleted.
Corrections
To correct a sheet, quote the line and attach the source that settles it. To ask for a page to be removed, name the page and the reason.
